Fantastic Interview With Fine Art Portrait Photographer Cristina Venedict

Cristina Venedict is a Fine Art Portrait Photographer from Botosani, Romania. She fell in love with photography in 2010, after her son was born. In her words about passion for photography “To maintain my passion I like to use different styles. I don’t settle down with one specific style. I have periods when I shoot only portraits, other times I love couple or family sessions and sometimes I like to escape in a world of dream and create something magical. I like this about me, this makes me happy and keeps my passion for photography alive and growing. Even I don’t know what to expect from me. I want to work on projects that represent me and make me discover parts of me that are hidden. I want to surprise myself!” Thanks, Cristina for accepting for the invite. Please read on…

10 Questions LOOKSLIKEFILM

It is such an honour to me to see my recent interview featured in LOOKSLIKEFILM, one of the most important blogs of photography to be inspired and to learn from the best photographers around the world

"Cristina Venedict’s fine art captured our eyes - it  not only showcases her skills as a photographer, but her imagination and creativity. Her work is painterly,  poetic and romantic. Based in Botosani, Romania, Cristina’s childhood plays an important part in influencing the way she sees, and the way she creates her photographs.  Her aim with her work is to invoke emotions and self discovery. And I think she has succeeded in communicating that.
Cristina has won many awards for her fine art work and is an exhibiting and well published photographer."

Nicole,Cultartes: Hello, Cristina! When did your passion for photography first started?
Cristina Venedict: I began photographing in 2006 with a compact camera. I thought it was great to have a camera in my hands, you feel like a director who creates a film. Photography gives me the opportunity to dream and create images; it helps me to keep going.

www.foto4all.ro | ISSUE NO.18 | Interviewed by Cristina Ţinta

A world of fantasies and dreams
We invite you to step with us into a world of dreams, a world of pear houses and fairytales, a world of magic, the world in which imagination has no limits.

“It started like a game, a game in which the child within me was running free and feeling like just awakened from a long sleep of immersion into the real world… a world in which we lose our ability to dream and to remain children. Photography helped me bring the child within back into the light. Photography and digital processing are interconnected. The fairytale could not exist if the camera lens would not open the gates of a different world, a world that preserves some elements of reality, but transposes them into a universe where there are no rules and no boundaries to creativity…
This is why the line between reality and fiction is extremely thin, almost inexistent in my works…” (Cristina Venedict).

Despre manipularea imaginatiei
