Winner in National Award 2016 Sony World Photography Awards

Winning first place in the world’s largest photography competition is beyond my wildest dream.
My photo was selected as the winner of Romanian’s National Award in Sony World Photography Award 2016

Dear Cristina
I am writing to you from the Sony World Photography Awards with some exciting news.
You have been selected the winner of Romania National Award with your image attached.
This competition was looking for the best single image entered into any of the Open categories of the 2016 Sony World Photography Awards taken by photographer of your nationality.
Your image will be shown as part of the 2016 Sony World Photography Awards Exhibition in London from 22th April – 8th May

About the National Awards
For this year’s competition, an expert panel was tasked to uncover and honour the best single image taken by a photographer from each National Award country, entered into any of the ten Open categories of the 2016 Sony World Photography Awards.

National Award winners receive the latest Sony digital imaging equipment to help them continue their photographic journeys. In addition, over half of the winners are brought to London to attend the Sony World Photography Awards gala ceremony.

You can see winning and shortlisted images from this year’s competition, including those from the National Award, at the Sony World Photography Awards Exhibition, held once again at the prestigious Somerset House, London from 22nd April – 8th May.
