I am honored to announce that my image "Feelings" has been awarded the runners up in the Fashion and Beauty category for the Professional Photographer of the Year awards 

Standards were sky high again this year and it wasn't an easy job to choose between such a huge array of fantastic images. But after much deliberation from the staff and contributors we whittled it down to the main winners with the runners up.

Andreea Anghel, Alexandra Vacaroiu, Andra Vişan, Felicia Simion, Cristina Venedict, Alexandru Iatan si un arhitect (Silviu Stanciu) , care au construit un labirint vizual - va propun o plimbare prin suprarealism si dubla expunere - imaginile vorbesc de la sine - sunete de Petrut Suciu

Group Exhibition | PhotoPlace Gallery

My work forgotten land as been chosen for the juried exhibition MYSTERIOUS VISIONS: DREAMS, FANTASIES, AND MIRAGES at PhotoPlace Gallery in Middlebury, Vermont.

Juror Emma Powell chose forty photographs for the gallery exhibition. In addition to being in the gallery exhibition, my work will also be available for viewing on the PhotoPlace Gallery website.

The exhibition will be on view at the gallery from April 23rd through May 18th. An artist's reception will be held on May 10th from 5-7 pm.

Award-winning photographer and educator Emma Powell specializes in photographs that balance on the fine line between reality and the dream. Her photographs have been shown in numerous exhibitions around the world and featured in many publications, including Diffusion Magazine, Super Massive Black Hole, Lenscratch, SHOTS Magazine, YET, SEITIES and others.  Her work is in a variety of public collections, among them the George Eastman House study collection and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
